Meditation=Amazing Transformation

In our performance shame driven results-are-the-only-means-to-the-end culture, we fight back. Our weapons?  Meditation. We refuse to permit the politics of corporate church and America to poison our families and heart. Check out these passages on meditation. Look at some of the points of beauty with me.

Meditation connects the left side of the brain, Broca’s area, with the right side of the brain where the working model for relationships forms.

In our work of Imago Curo, Caring for the Image of God within,  we focus on the vagus nerve endings in the chest area. We deliberately use words to attach to affect and the Vagus system.  We reconnect our system using meditation. You will love it, your body will thank you for it. You will sense a diminishing of toxic shame and nearness to God that may have escaped you in the corporate maelstrom of post modern church politics.

(This structure is called the Cingulate Gyrus responsible for processing pleasure, pain, and addiction neural pathways. When we meditate, reward structures wire from this part of the brain. Meditation changes the shape of the brain and our awareness of God and each other.)
